Markets Start Higher Despite The Olive Oil Economies
Markets Start Higher Despite The Olive Oil Economies
This morning, the S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES-M2) are trading higher by 9.00 points to 1343.00 per contract. The catalyst for the move higher in the futures comes as the European markets are basically trading flat. Traders should continue to keep a close eye on the US Dollar Index futures (DX-M2) as the major stock indexes around the world continue to trade inverse to the US Dollar. Should the dollar strengthen these stock markets are likely to deflate and trade lower. On the flip side, should the US Dollar Index decline leading equities such as ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Crude Oil (NYSEARCA:UCO), BHP Billiton Limited (ADR) (NYSE:BHP), United States Gasoline Fund, LP (NYSEARCA:UGA), and ProShares Ultra Silver (ETF) (NYSEARCA:AGQ) will likely inflate and trade higher. Remember, every trade is really a trade on the dollar.

Peak Oil News Update February 16, 2012
Hola. Here's a "Peak Oil News Update" from "what is is" and he talks about the Iran oil embargo, gives the current petro prices for two petro stations in San Francisco and talks about the larger SUVs coming on the market. The driver of those will enjoy filling that big thing up, won't he/she?! (Most of the time, SUVs that we see on the streets have ONE person in them, meaning the driver). Of course, other than vegetable/fruit juicing there is no instant gratification "magic pill" that one can take to prepare for what may be coming. There's a link to pink barrio's juicer page below. That link will be disappearing and/or will not work at the end of February 2012. As of this writing, Brent Crude is $120.45 per barrel. The oatmeal recipe talked about in this video (it's called Oatmeal for Occupy) is at pink barrio's Kitchen & Health store at this link: www.pinkbarrio.com The link to the Champion Juicer is at this link: www.pinkbarrio.com Ciao.

Gutter oil: explained
Gutter oil: explained
Download here: newsdirect.nma.com.tw The Chinese government has been battling to eliminate "gutter oil" from the country's kitchens. Chinese police recently raided six illicit oil recyclers, arresting 32 suspects and recovering 100 tons of gutter oil that was being processed for resale. Gutter oil manufacturers collect leftovers from restaurants, waste from sewers, and waste animal fat to produce gutter oil. They then perform simple filtering before selling it on to larger refineries. The oil is then refined into toxic cooking oil and resold at low prices. Source: BBC

Biofuels Fuel Oil from Sawdust - HDindieNews
Biofuels Fuel Oil from Sawdust - HDindieNews
HDindieNews - Biofuels Fuel oil from sawdust How much mileage do you get from sawdust? Biofuel from non-edible parts of plants getting more efficient As vacationers gas up to hit the road this summer, they could find themselves wondering about alternative fuels and their potential to ease the strain on pocketbooks and the environment. Imagine filling up your tank with fuel derived from straw or sawdust. Researchers at the University of Calgary's Schulich School of Engineering are developing new ways to produce biofuel from organic waste in a sustainable and affordable way. "Our goal is to make biofuel production more efficient and economical," explains Dr. Nader Mahinpey, director of the Bio Energy Laboratory at the Schulich School of Engineering. "We are experimenting with the combination and range at which we apply high temperatures and pressure and determining what types of chemicals or other substances we need to add." His research involves the production of biofuels from the non-edible parts of plants -- such as the straw from flax, barley and wheat -- and not food crops. In the past, biofuels from food crops such as corn or sugar cane have been associated with a host of problems including food shortages, spikes in food prices and the debate over whether to use valuable land and water resources to grow crops for food or fuel. Dr. Mahinpey extracts oil from plant material using a process called pyrolysis, which involves intense temperatures between 400°C and 600°C ...

Ugandan commanders displayed Caesar Achellam to reporters after his capture in what they said was a weekend raid in the Central African Republic. The CAR is one of several African Union countries that has committed troops to hunt down LRA chieftain Joseph Kony, who is wanted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court. "This is a big fish," said Col. Felix Kulayigye, a Ugandan military spokesman.
